Yo! how's it hangin' my fellow humans?

Me, I got a slight case of the SAD (seasonal affective disorder). The crappy English weather is getting me down and as such progress on some of the more intensive projects at Modular Samples headquarters has slowed down a bit. That said, it's not all doom and gloom.

Second, there's Xolotl, an open source, harmonic synthesiser based on the same sound library as Quetzalcoatl. It's a pretty simple affair, 1 harmonic oscillator feeds into a harmonic (or comb?) filter with all the usual modulators and so on.. While a bit of a one trick pony, and still a little rough round the edges, it sounds freaking huge.. Mac only for the time being:

(for those interested in Aztec mythology, Xolotl was Quetzalcoatl's brother, guide for the dead and an all round good boy).

Finally, I'd like to announce Oi, Grandad! v2:

So far this adds one new feature. Each voice can now have up to 4 "playheads", with their own position and modulation controls. This allows for very complex patches using just a single voice. More is planned (including IOS support), but if you'd like to suggest a feature please do so here. (Ultimately, I can see it becoming a 4 track, granular DAW for the left brained..)
